spent a very meaningful chinese new year this year, with family, relatives, high school friends, college friends and family friends. had two karaoke sessions, once with yen chee and hui xian at sunway's red box and another time at family friend's house.
on the last day of cny which chinese referred to as chap goh mei, our parents brought me and youngest brother to genting to meet up with relatives. and as usual, dinner was buffet at coffee terrace. the food were getting lesser this time, we probably won't be going there again. after dinner, the elders left to casino while the five of us wandered around. little much could we do than going out and enjoy the breeze. it was so chilling. i could feel it creeping up my spine.
aunt and mum came out from the casino later at 11pm. had kfc chickens for supper. that night, we went back home at 2am. oh, by the way, we missed the fireworks ughh. the air was fully covered by mist, so we didn't catch it again, like what happened last year.
well, despite missing the fireworks, it was all good. in fact, i'm mentally and physically satisfied. felt so grateful to have a bunch of people i get to spend time with.
marching into march, it's time to settle down. i received a call for work today and will be working from monday to saturday, six days a week probably until end of july, which means goodbye freedom, no more staying up late. sobssssss ;~; i wouldn't give up my holidays if i weren't in need of a large sum of money. for two main reasons, and they shall be the most exciting events of the year *drum rolls* i can't wait for it. it's like waiting for half a year to pass, and that's a lot i can say, so much to look forward to XD

8.2.2013-10.2.2013 ( Day1)
KLANG

reunion dinner the day before cny
visited the temple. love the lightings!
me and the cousin i always played with when we were still kids
Day2 to Day4
JOHOR
went around house-visiting my aunties and uncle. and as usual, i had to
babysit play with my cousins haha.
At night, we gambled with the elders because my grandma hasn't been playing cards for some time. In the end, i lost more than rm10. Lack of luck this year, but still fun because we laughed too much. We ordered suppers every night :)
Day5
sick :(
Day6
visited family friend's house whom just shifted to our area.
Day7
brunch - bak kut teh. Jia Yee came to my house in the afternoon and then we went shopping at setia city mall. Got back home. Had dinner at food lover. Once again, the food sucks to the max. Yen chee and i both ordered the same dishes but my chicken tasted like shit
ewww. Wen liang fetched us to jy's new house after dinner.
i had no idea with my facial expression >.<
all pictures credited to wen liang :)
Day8
ice-skated at sunway pyramid with Jen Yeen, Mun Ling and Chee Peng. First time ever in my 19 years. I couldn't balance myself while walking in those shoes. So heavy and tall and unbalanceable lol. Peng and I were beginners so we each had ml and jy as our tutors. At first, i held onto the side of the rink and was trying hard to skate with it. I could feel myself falling anytime. A photographer came by and asked us to take pictures which later costs rm30 for each photo. It was extremely expensive so we didn't buy in the end. Anyway, back to skating, after holding onto the side for one round or so, jen yeen held my hand and i started to skate without holding the bar. She taught me how to move forward, keeping one leg in front and the other one pushing you forward at the back. So i started learning. She began going faster and that was when i experienced my first fall. I fell on my butt, one side of my butt, painful but i got used to it after several falls haha.
All of us had some funny incidents in the rink. There was this skinny guy who came by and taught me how to skate. He was telling me that my posture was wrong and i should be doing this and that. Later, he started dancing gangnam style right in front of us lol. The same guy also nearly banged into mun ling but he was good at avoiding. The three of us witnessed it and we couldn't stop laughing at her expression, the blank and shocked face. Chee peng fell and a mixed guy helped her up
phewit. Jen yeen's one was a little creepy though. I was skating alone in the middle on the rink and jen caught me from the back. Then, this uncle was looking and his friend was telling him
nehh this girl this girl go say hi. Jen told me let's just leave. But everytime jen skated pass them, they did the same. The creepiest part was when we leaved the ice rink, the uncle stood at the side looking at her
yeeeee. Anyway, we had a lot of fun. We skated for almost 3 hours before headed for lunch at mr.teppanyaki. Talked about our holidays and cny. A nice catch-up!

watching reply 1997 was a right choice.
at first i find this drama quite annoying because they quarrel A LOT
(the shouting type) and everything was flashbacks. and they turned my
adorable eunji into shiwon ;~; was asking myself who the hell introduce
this drama to me. EVERYONE said this drama is awesome and is a
must-watch. well, i can now tell you yes they’re right, it’s a
MUST-WATCH! i enjoyed watching it so much. got used to them shouting at
each other. this is how friends get along. and Hoyaaaaaa, i don’t care
if i like the gay him in the drama or the straight him, he’s simply GOOD.
reply 1997 tells us what teens do when we are still in our teen year.
we buy albums, posters, photocards trading, read fanfics, ship our own
ships, watch their live broadcast, listen to their newly release songs
at the very first moment, go to concerts, willing to wait for uri oppas
for hours, sing along when their songs are played, scream like no one’s
watching, fanchants everywhere, even crying for them and with them.
witness our unity. the sacrifices we made. diehard fan. undying love.
one colour, one sea, thousands, millions of people.
ain’t teen years suppose to be exciting, adventurous and crazy?
at least there’s something to laugh at when you look back next time.
so here’s to more concerts and trips haha
